General / It's My Birthday Today

Yes, I breached that wall 20 years ago today.

General / I started Learning Piano Yesterday
« on: November 14, 2012, 01:09 pm »
This is the first song I am learning with no prior experience:

Definitely not that hard, but kinda hard for someone who is just starting. I can play the first half of the song right now easily. It starts getting harder for me the second half. I seem to be getting the hang of it though. I dont even know the name of the keys, I just watch, listen and play, like most people do I imagine. I like it.

But mistakes make people.

General / Dont Make Fun Of My Nose
« on: November 13, 2012, 03:46 pm »
I'm pretty sensitive about it. I'm not used to being a clown. I had to go out and buy candy, spend nearly half of the money I own buying Omega's van, I had to rewrite "Free Candy" on both sides of the van several times because my handwriting is terrible, and on top of all this, my nose is extremely inflamed. I'm not too familiar with clowns but I heard this is what Ronald McDonald the clown does so I'm going with it.

General / The New Family Guy Last Night

Was genius. One of the best made, possibly even the best made of the show.

General / The Worst Part About Being The Class Clown Or Whatever

Is the description "I THINK I'M FUNNEH"

Because I hate cheesy comments. It's just ironic.

General / I Think I'm Hacked...

My avatar is changed and my name is bright yellow which makes me think it's a general (Superluigi). Gotta IP check myself.

General / Two Souls One Goal Video
« on: November 03, 2012, 04:43 pm »

There's the vid in case anyone wants to see the game in it's entirety, including all of the poetic lines, storyline, and the different in game symbols and references are described at the end. If you have any opinions on the game I'd appreciate hearing them. I did die at one part when my computer lagged during a quick sequence, mainly because of the updates the comp was going through and the crappy recording system I use. I'll make that part more forgiving though.

General / Ya'll better get me something for my birthday
« on: November 03, 2012, 01:50 pm »
I know Took is giving me weed, Spell is buying me an escort, and Metallica is getting me a job, or should I say, giving me a job...but what about the rest of you? My birthday is on the 15th.

General / I played Assassin's Creed 3 The Other Day
« on: November 02, 2012, 07:45 pm »
I actually like the online play. It's different and refreshing in my opinion even though the server kept crashing when I played. The single player stuff wasn't that great in my opinion. I like the forest stuff and some of the fighting, but nothing really awed me or anything personally.

General / Poetry Lines For Two Souls One Goal (Spoiler)
« on: October 29, 2012, 09:06 am »
Level 1

All of your training has brought you here
Why this place is still unclear
You follow orders, but you dont know your name
You travel with another, who is playing the same game
You're told to enter and to hold your ground
Even if you're not ready, the clock has been wound
You wait for the others, where did they go?
You keep on moving, hoping they will show
You move behind the other, he takes the first glace
And alas there is nobody there as you hold your stance
But soon you will face your biggest fear
You must hold off the enemy while shedding no tears...

End of level 3:

Still waiting for them, you continue to fight
You look around but there is no soul in sight
Just you and the other, holding your own
Not a single word said, not even one groan
But even with this, you walk side by side
Awaiting the next wave, it's either do or die...

End of level 5:

You and the other think about leaving
Your heart's are racing and your lungs are wheezing
But you know it's not time, you decide to stay
You let your instincts guide the way
How could you leave, what message would that send?
The other is in pain, how could this happen to a friend...?

Level 8:

The others never came and it's time to flee
You and your friend can finally be free
One more obstacle stands in your way
As you begin to move with nothing to say

(Cut scene. You run across the screen with 2 armor bots both above and below you shooting. You run with the hologram (The other) and as you run, the hologram starts to fall back with each space you travel. The poem continues).

You have made it through, there is nowhere to hide
But your friend is not with you, he has been left behind
But you have no choice, you have to leave
And force his family to forever grieve...

Last Level: Closing lines

You are now out and can't see a thing
You can't tell where but you hear crying
With all those months would form a tomb
Where you have been battling inside the womb
One soul is breathing, the other with no pulse
But your mother couldn't help it, she had an impulse
For all that time you fought in that sector
She could not break free from the devil's nectar
Two cribs in that house will be no more
Only one will remain behind that door
Now he is dead, all because of a secret
But we learn to forgive and learn to forget
She had an addiction, and nobody could help her
One soul's problem forced three souls to suffer
You will now grow up missing a companion
But the time you spent will be your connection
You can not go back, the wounds can not be sown
You must live his life through the life of your own...

So that's basically the storyline. I then go on to give my own message and explain some of the lines and in game reference, such as the 2 lights in ever level surrounded by slime and/or acid to represent the umbillical cords, which is why health is given at these points. Except one cord begins to die off because your brother is taking in more alcohol, which is why he died.

General / Women Are Selfish These Days

I brought a girl some breakfast in bed this morning, and instead of getting a "thank you" as I deserved, she just yelled "How the hell did you get in my house?!"

Game Hyping / Two Souls One Goal

I hope you can give it a chance, even if you're not much of a fan of the 3D. A lot of thought was put into this.

General / New Game Is Almost Done
« on: October 26, 2012, 11:10 am »
I just gotta put in finishing touches and finish the last level. And I need to test it. But if all goes well, which I imagine it will, it'll probably be out today or tomorrow. I hope you guys will be willing to give it a try even though it's 3D. It should be different from others you've played, that's the intention.

General / I Think I Just Found A Major Glitch In The 3D
« on: October 25, 2012, 08:16 pm »
It's a neat little glitch, and it can really add some variety in regards to game play, but it can also allow you to cheat pretty easily, so idk if I should expose it. Some people may know, but I've never heard of it before.

General / My Very Attractive Female Neighbor...
« on: October 25, 2012, 05:50 pm »
is completely paranoid.

She thinks I've been following or even stalking her, she is worried that I may be obsessed with her, and any time she hears a noise in her house she is...purified? Oh, wait...petrified.

Sorry, it's not easy reading a diary through binoculars from a tree.

General / I Am Honestly Shocked
« on: October 25, 2012, 02:08 am »
The new South Park was probably one of the best ever made. It was really refreshing to see an episode that really delivered throughout. I really enjoyed it, a nice little reenactment to The Shining in this one too.

General / I Dont Know About You, But I Hate It When...
« on: October 23, 2012, 07:10 pm »
I accidentally send a private text message to the wrong person. Sometimes my phone does that and it's annoying.

Like the other day I wrote a message saying "Hey babe, just thinking of you makes me so happy, and I can't wait till we can mess around tonight when you get home," and sent it to my neighbors wife. Now imagine how embarrassing it would have been if I'd sent that to the wrong person...

General / [Hype] Two Souls One Goal [Hype]
« on: October 23, 2012, 05:04 pm »
This will be my 3rd algorithm crew game, and will certainly be my best if I pull it off. The game will include:

-Clever game play sequences
-Unique map movements
-Never before used puzzles
-An in-game poem that will pan out an engaging storyline as you go
-At least 1 "boss" type sequence

And other stuff. My main goal with this game is to show that the 3D creator is not as limited as people may think. I'm not sure how long this will take, but I'm hyped about making it, and hopefully, even if you are not a fan of 3D games, you'll like this game ;)

Game Discussion / How To Create A Circle With The PPG.
« on: October 22, 2012, 08:42 am »
You select the circle option from the draw tool, and you click, hold, and drag the mouse to whichever size you want.

My next lesson will be how to make a square.

General / THE Perfect Setting...
« on: October 22, 2012, 12:30 am »
I left a trail of rose petals from the front door that led up to the stairs...and to the bedroom as well. I sprinkled some more over the bed. I sat in the corner wearing nothing but her beautiful silk robe with a bottle of vintage wine on ice on the end of a table. I heard the door open and her footsteps coming up the stairs. I wanted this to be the most romantic evening ever. But, I have to admit, I was pretty nervous.

Now all I needed was the perfect way to introduce myself.

General / Lol Look At This Commercial
« on: October 20, 2012, 11:55 am »
For those who do not know, Obama looked really tired in the first debate, and really screwed himself over. But he was alive and well in the second and did a nice job. I just thought this was funny. It was on the Bill Mahr show:

General / I'm Voting For Obama
« on: October 20, 2012, 03:01 am »
Romney, to me, seems like a bully, and he's always been a bully. I want a president, not a bully. I think Clinton's speech in the Democratic National Convention won me over. 100% of his speech was the truth. Also, I can't have respect for Romney after he pointed at Obama and told him that he would have his turn when he was done. If you watched the last debate, you'd know what I'm talking about. You dont speak to the president that way. That just proves how much of a bully he is, and there were two experts, one of body language, and the other of mannerisms, that could also clearly identify him as a bully through his debates. Obama has improved this country with these first 4 years. Of course, it's not a dramatic improvement, but no president can make huge changes in 4 years. He's actually benefited this country so far. The problem with most Americans, in my perspective, is that we want change now. We see a television show and in 30 minutes, problems occur, and solutions are found and the characters involved are all happy. We see a commercial on T.V. that starts out with a case of bad teeth, and in 30 seconds, shows the teeth completely whitened and fixed. We learn to expect change now, as a whole, and we apply this to the presidency, which just isn't right.

This is just my view, and obviously I have left some holes in my little rant, but I'd hate to keep rambling on, lol. You dont have to agree with me, but I hope you at least can respect my opinion and I respect everyone else's.
