I am abe27633, as many of you may have seen me on the mainsite, as I have been there for two years. Anyway, lets begin this...
I was taking a break of sploder for about four months, but now I am here to stay for years, for good. I am very experienced with sploder, and have seen many things happening on this site, and I want to be apart of the staff so I can do my bit for sploder.
Anyway, about editors.
As an editor I would look for games with good placement of enemies. The type of placement I look for is the one which surprises you, is unexpected, and is tricky, and when you get killed by these well placed enemies you want to smash your head on the keyboard until you are numb. I often have an eye for games which are kind of like puzzles, but I have learned to see good games, and learnt to see through my friends games and bribes. Being an editor is a very big responsibility, but I believe I stand up to the challenge. I will also look out for the effort and detail put into the game, which will be very easy to see looking at all the small details in a game. If I were to be an editor, I would have an advantage, because I am known at school for the most random tiny detail I realise, but being an editor that is good, because when I will be looking at games I will see the small things and details the user that created the game has made. I would only feature games every now and then, and only if they are completely worthy. If I am not sure that it is perfectly worthy, I will ask a fellow editor on his opinion. Many games don't have traps in them, so I really enjoy a very good game with good traps in them, but unless it is a very good game I wouldn't feature it. I tell the truth, I would never tweak it, and I would be honest with every game I feature.

I told my teacher once that sploder was a place where you could learn...

Then we were allowed on it for ages, until we got found out. Good times are over.

Welcome to the forums. I sort of know the new feeling because I joined Sploder 12 months ago, then got busy, so now I sort of feel new coming back to Sploder :D.

Do not add everyone, trust me. To get in contests you need to make good games. Make sure to watch some of the podcast that geoff set up at: http://www.youtube.com/user/splodercast/videos?view=0

That link will take you to a place where you can browse videos.
