As he mentioned, hive and I used to be. Never realized there was a word for it, haha.

That's really unfortunate, and I wish you the best in getting whatever you need to do done. No, I don't mean godfather style, I just hope that you can deal with this and not let it ruin you. Some people are complete idiots. I remember a similar feeling when my grandmother's partner for 8 years told her he never loved her and took off with all her money. It sucks.
Feel better and try to ignore the stupid people ::)

That's so sweet! And creepy, but this is sploder.

Posted By: empoleonNo idea, and no it does not. I know some nice Yuri mangas if you want those xP

Um, I'll let you stick with those :-).
>_> They're pretty bad anyways. I haven't seen/read any good Yuri ever, and there's way too much Yaoi out there.

Don't I know it. All my friends read yoai and it creeps the hell out of me.

Posted By: bobblerOkay well for me it seems like you imply that I am the "lame" one due to the context that basically floods all around that statement you made. You know, since were getting technical ._.
Nope. The only lame ones here are the six of us that you mentioned. We're lame and loving it.

Okay. Deny the obvious. Goodnight dude haha

You must have really low self esteem issues if you find the need to be so utterly condescending. And it's truly funny, hun, how each of supeluigi's were perfectly reasoned out while each of yours is either a repeat of what you've already said or an idiotic comeback that I've heard toddlers use before.

Posted By: empoleonYay Darker Than Black :D Problem with that one is it drags on too long.

+ Spice & Wolf is definitely a must-watch. Fits your requirements very well.

+ Code Geass is my favorite anime, but only has hints of real romance.

+ Steins;Gate was brilliantly done, and the romance builds up toward the end. Great one there.

+ Nana is a really adult anime with adult themes, but it's an awesome watch. A good amount of episodes, and you really can't stop watching once you start.

In order of best (my opinion):
Code Geass
Steins;Gate
Spice & Wolf
Nana

BUT Spice & Wolf should be a next try.

I've watched over two months of anime, so I've watched quite a lot.

I'm super excited to try Spice & Wolf, and Steins;Gate. I would watch Code Geass but I'm waiting for a friend that i told her I'd watch it with. What's Nana about, exactly?
Both awesome :D

So Nana is a strange one, not sure if I completely remember it. A girl goes to Tokyo for a new life or something, and ends up being a roommate with a girl she met on the train named Nana (forgot which one was named Nana...). Nana (not the main character) ends up in a band and the series is all about Nana and the main's relationship despite all the stuff that goes on in their lives (lots of drama). It's a really big drama.

Also, a warning about a couple of anime. People say "Kimi No Todoke" is a wonderful anime, DON'T BE FOOLED. It's a terribly boring anime, and you wait forever for romance, but it never really happens.

If you want full-blown romance anime with awesome guy and a girl always being in second-place to him try "Special A". I liked that one.

Sounds awesome, emp. Nana sounds good, but I have two questions. One, is the name an English version of her name, or is it actually the Japanese word for seven, and two, I have to ask, it doesn't have yuri, does it?

I'd love to hear them. I'm a bit caught up watching Darker the Black right now, so I haven't tried all of your suggestions.

Humor is subjective. Just because your personal brand of it doesn't match up with his, it doesn't mean he can't joke around or have a good time.

Also, let's try and even out the ranks a little. I'd like less emphasis on ranks, and more equality. Ranks should be based on seniority and demonstrated maturity, NOT based on cliques or in-crowds..

I want to keep this for future reference.

Does this mean that Superluigi will stop being a massive prick?
Thankful People:spellmage,elroysice
What does that even have to do with me? I was never part of any "clique" or "in-group" nor did I ever emphasize the importance of any social stratification. I've always been among those who've believed that voting for promotions has always been too much of a popularity contest. (Although, I still maintain that I was the rare exception to that.)

Oh, and to you two who thanked darut's comment: Why don't you try being clever on your own instead of just letting others do it for you? It also doesn't look good for you when you thank a comment that is utter nonsense. (Unless, of course, you like utter nonsense, in which case good for you.)

Being a bit short there, eh? I'm not sure it was really intended seriously.
Wouldn't you be a bit piissed off if everyone was having a beef at you and you had no idea why?

Of course, I was just surprised luigi responded the way he did. No disrespect to him, of course.

Compliments work, but only if they are things people don't usually notice. Try stealing glances at her in class. And lord, try not to say something like 'you have nice feet'. That would prove traumatic for you, I think.

General / Leniency
« on: July 25, 2012, 04:15 am »
I think the ranks are an entertaining and in some ways nessacary element of the forums. It allows members to create threads that pertain only to members they know can handle the topic, and it helps introduce members of the same maturity level to one another. Not to mention it provides motivation to be a more understanding and less antagonist member, so that you can earn more respect. As for the leniency comment, I believe that a lot of the lieutenants are very friendly if you take the time to talk to them in a respectful way.

Posted By: maxliamIn my opinion.
I think that the ranks ruin the forums in someway and I think that the ranks should be removed and just keep it as:
Members, Banned and mods.

How does that make me a perv? She asked to see BME, abd I showed her 2 girls out of the goodness of my heart. No long term damage was done.

By the way, I only asked because when I wanted to see a funny video, you showed me a bme commentary. So, I wanted to know what it was.

Why thank you. It's always good to get 'people skills' opinions from the guy who's closetest friends jack his things, mace him, and break his hand. Always a pleasure, Hive.
My closetest friends don't do that. Not even my closest friends do that. They've gotten better.

Well, fine then. But I'm just saying, your friends aren't fabulous to you.

OH MY GOD. SHE'S BACK.

Your multi-lingual side seems promising. It shows a certain level of sophistication I hope to see in the interviews. ;)
She's not the Prodigy I think you think she is. Her skill with handling you people is far beyond mine but her people skills... Could use some touch up. The interviews are hilarious non the less and are currently working on something more "forum appropriate".
