VPN. That is all.

General / So little to do, and so much time to do it.

I just got off a twelve-hour flight to Frankfurt about an hour ago. I have to wait about three more hours until the next flight, and the next flight itself will take about five to six hours. Unfortunately, I've exhausted pretty much every interesting-looking movie in Lufthansa's not-so-extensive library of movies in their entertainment system during the twelve-hour flight, so I'll be bracing for a bit of cabin fever on the next flight.

Oh, and if that's not bad enough, where I'm going, it's about eleven and a half hours' difference in terms of time zones (so pretty much the opposite side of the world from where I live), so the jet lag is about as intense as it gets.

Decided to throw an extra zero in there.

I think it was Forbes that said he was number 1 by 10 billion, another site I just looked up said he was second to Buffet. In the end, it doesn't even matter. He is still kicking ass.
Right off the top of my head, I know that Andrew Carnegie had much deeper pockets as a philanthropist; he donated ~$445 million of his wealth. Adjusting for inflation, that would be about 5.8 billion dollars in today's world.

Because people want to keep up with the Jones, even if it means buying stuff they don't really like or care for. Heck, if the next Xbox was made of pizza boxes and barb wire, people would be angry at its lack of features and yet still be pressured into buying it.
Um, gates is:

1) Not the CEO of Microsoft anymore
2) Not the head of the XBOX division

Don't slander Bill Gates, he is LITERALLY the biggest philanthropist to ever live.
No, he isn't. There have been bigger philanthropists.

California isn't especially hot, even during the summer. As a matter of fact, coastal cities like San Francisco can be quite chilly a lot of the time.

Oh, you'll be coming back. That I can assure you. It's just a matter of time and frequency. I doubt that anyone can ever leave this place for absolute good.

I have the same problem as matty. When I put the graphics on a ninja, the square on the body appears. ???

lol I'm getting lectured on respecting people when

He's basically saying people are ignorant for believing in God.
He isn't using personal insults, however cross his opinion may be. It's a well-known and fairly common-sense fact that people who believe in God and people who don't believe in God think each other ignorant to some degree.

You are an attention whore.
And a hypocrite.
A stern reminder to the both of you to be respectful of others and their beliefs.

Do you think you could also add the ability to customize weapons as well in the graphics creator, some time in the future?  :D

Running around in circles and screaming doesn't exactly help, either.

I could care less about what other people believe.  That is my way of respect.  I don't have to give my insight to them but I don't have to respect Kitty if he the person always trying to bash the appearance of a figure many people worship.  This also comes with the fact he is a richardfaced personality.

I am fine with people expressing their beliefs but when people do it like mitkoizi or sree, then that's not okay.  They try to force their beliefs and act like their beliefs are better than everyone else's.
You don't have to like them or their opinion, but you are to show respect regardless. No matter how stubborn or arrogant someone seems to be with their opinion, replying with the same demeanor isn't going to achieve anything except create more problems. If you can't argue your point without resorting to personal attacks, best you don't argue at all.

I still don't understand why Kitty assumes he is so smart.  This also leads to other retarted traits he has including assuming he is a smartass and a master conspiracist.  When in fact your sarcasm is blatant and has zero effect on people and link to the first sentence because you are nowhere near as intelligent as you think you are.  Btw, claiming to be a smartass 50x times takes away from the actual sarcasm.
I'm atheist, so screw God
A stern reminder to the both of you to be respectful of others and their beliefs.

General / Re: Something I'm working on

While I would give anything for a FPS creator, I see a couple problems.

1. 3D rendering would demand quite a high CPU usage compared to the other creators.
2. I imagine that being able to use uploaded graphics for rendering scenery will either create extremely long loading times, or will siphon even more CPU usage, simply because of the sheer amount of data retrieval that would have to be done to load the graphics onto the game. I know that PPG's with a large amount of different graphics on them are quite laggy, and I imagine that this would especially be the case with an FPS creator.

Did you mention the space race, or give credit to the USSR for launching a satellite into space first?

General / Re: This may sound a little racist, but...
« on: May 15, 2013, 03:24 am »
That's an observation. Only idiots would think that's racist.
It's not an observation, it's a rather impractical assumption.

I've been doing that all night...
What? A Brit that drinks coffee and not tea? What sorcery is this?

General / Re: This may sound a little racist, but...
« on: May 15, 2013, 12:36 am »
Two things.
1. Improper use of the term 'racist'.
2. Soldiers generally use guns and bullets against enemies, not flamethrowers.

Who the hell calls their products "Naked"?
You wouldn't believe what some perfume companies label their products.

And I've actually drank Naked. It's pretty good.
