Broke 3 of the fingers on my right hand trying to grab a 100 dollar bill underneath a stove. Co-worker sat on the stove and broke my index, pointer, and ring finger. Didn't even have to pay the medical bill.

Next time I see a non-reviewer give advice and not actually suggest a reviewer application, I am temp banning that user from applications for a week. Weeks will be continuously added on if it continues.

Come on guys, the least you can do is follow the dang rules. I shouldn't have to resort to doing this just make sure you do.

Application Suggestions

This thread is where you can suggest an application to the recruiters. In order for an application to be passed to the next stage, it will need to achieve a 2/3 majority vote. When suggesting an application, you must provide a direct link to the specified application and then write a paragraph on why it should be passed on.

If you decide to vote no against an application, you must also write a paragraph why. For your information, a paragraph is only 4-5 sentences, so this shouldn't be hard. Anyone can post in this thread or suggest an application (no you cannot suggest your own application or try to get an alt to do that). Because anyone can post in here, I trust that we will not got off-topic. Any off-topic comments will be deleted. They clutter up space and have no business in this thread.

Recruiter's Center

Once an application has been suggested and passed the 2/3 majority vote, the recruiters may vote on it in here. All applications have to receive at least a 2/3 majority to be accepted or denied. Once an application is accepted or denied, it is mandatory that the recruiters log it in the Denied Tracker. Please check applications when they come in and not weeks later. Recruiters also have the power to lock threads and post in locked discussions within this category only. If an application has been denied, please lock it.

Recruiters also have the ability to override a denied suggestion application and immediately vote on it. This requires the consent of at least 2 recruiters.

In order to make an application, you have to abide by these rules.
  • If your application has been denied, you will have to wait 3 weeks before re-applying.
  • With this new system, all inactive recruiters will be demoted. Stay active.
  • Re-applying before your 3 week waiting time will double the waiting time. If you continuously re-apply despite of this, you will be banned for however long seems fit.
  • Reviewers and recruiters are the only people who can give advice on applications. They have passed the test and can give a small amount of help to the application.
  • Recruiters are able to veto suggestion decisions and skip straight to the voting phase if they wish.
  • Stay on topic and do not make question threads. This is an applications only category. All questions go to the reviewer lane.
  • Please do not bump your threads. All checked applications will be locked, so it will be easy to tell which applications are still not checked.

This thread is in general because I want EVERYONE'S opinions about this because this will include EVERYONE. Recently, or should I say for a while now, the reviewer applications section has been in disarray. Too many applications are coming in and too many recruiters are not checking them. It is time to propose a new plan that will involve everyone. Even you privates.

This new plan will be voted on in the LL, but before I put it up for voting, I will give everyone a chance to sate their opinion about this. I want this to be done in the best way possible, and that requires everyone's cooperation.

First off, all current recruiters will be demoted. We will then choose a new base of recruiters. I know that most of the current recruiters will get back in, but I want to insure that they stay active within the reviewer applications category. This also means there is a chance for new recruiters. Recruiters will also be given a special rank that will allow them to close denied applications in the category.

Once we have the new recruiter base, we will move on to the privates. Applications will be judged much differently from now on. To achieve a chance at acceptance or denial for your application, you must have a 2/3 majority vote from the PRIVATES to be voted into the next stage. This gives privates the chance to promote applications they think are worthy. They cannot vote on their own application. ALSO, IN ORDER TO VOTE ON AN APPLICATION, THE VOTER HAS TO WRITE AT LEAST A PARAGRAPH ON WHY IT SHOULD BE PASSED ON.

Once an application achieves 2/3 majority, it will move on to the recruiters. The new system means that at least 2 recruiters will have to check an application. This will also require a 2/3 majority vote. This insures that an application is looked over thoroughly and more recruiters agree on the decision.

In addition, the waiting time between applications will be extended to 3 weeks to make up for the voting process. Everything will be more thorough and fair to the privates. It won't be just one person's decision.

This system will hopefully make the category much more active than it is currently. I realize that not everyone is willing to give the privates a chance at doing something, but I think we should.

This will most likely be a complete overhaul of the current system. New guides made, new fused threads, more centers, etc. I cannot guarantee that something like this will be sure to happen but I surely hope it does.
