If she's not listening, she's not going to (most likely). She doesn't seem to care enough about you to save you the pain of knowing that she's in the hospital. Honestly, she's being very selfish. Why should you have to suffer? You continuously offer your feelings, help, and kindness to her, but she rejects all of these. Of course you want to help her, but if you can't, why cause yourself to feel pain?

In my opinion, having dealt with situations such as this one, you need to tell her exactly how you feel. Tell her that you care about her, but she needs to "man up" and stand up to her bullies. Even if she's frail, there are ways to deal with them. Then tell her that while you care, her depression is affecting you negatively. She needs to understand that you are giving up your time, feelings, and energy in order to help her. She also needs to understand that if she isn't willing to listen to what you say, then you can't help her.

She probably has a chance to recover, but being soft and caring all the time usually doesn't work. You need to open her eyes to the real world; her depression is messing with other people's lives. Of course you need to do this in a way that she won't go jump out of a window, but you definitely still need to be hard on her. Tough love.

How can you be this stupid? I'm laughing so hard right now.

Tell her to stand up to the bullies and not get pushed around? Seriously. Moping about problems doesn't fix them. I realize she has a low self-esteem due to the bullying, but she needs to step it up. Hit the kids in the face. The bullies generally stop if you take a real stand. Few don't, and for those you either deal with it or take an even bigger stand.

She shouldn't let the bullies get to her anyways. All you have to do is ignore/avoid them if you're that scared of confrontation. If she's getting physically bullied, like seriously physical, it should be pretty easy to show to the teachers. The evidence would be her body. But that won't stop the bullies in the future.

She needs to stand up for herself.

Also, you don't sound like you are the type of person able to handle her situation. Might be detrimental to both you and her. Or maybe you are, and I just don't see it.

Yes to glowie....so you're going to vote no because we shouldn't be revoting on her.
No, I voted no because I don't think she should be a soldier. Stop whining about my vote.

6
Since when do we get a revote just because 3 people want one?
This.

No.

I like this idea. I might not be "famous" enough, but I'd be willing to answer questions if you lack the manpower.

Never read the books but the movie was good.  Disappointed on the amount of gore (was supposed to be good).  It seemed a little crushed together but JLAW has a nice rack.

I KNOW I KNOW It's a classic to some.  It's just not my type of movie.
lol you gave Pulp Fiction a 50%. All of your ratings suck, and are generally ignorant.

No, I just pointed out how ridiculous ONE THING America does, in my opinion.
And the other thread. I'm going to go ahead and say you make quite a few random judgments about America.

Fair enough, I don't like you emp but theres no point me arguing against that. I would like to point out that im 16. I just don't put effort into sploder like u guys seem 2
Yes, insult us personally in order to save some face. That makes you seem like a mature member. Maybe nobody will remember how hard you got destroyed in this thread.
So what you are saying is that you are just as patriotic as Americans? That makes half your argument for naught.

Oh yeah, and you can also kiss our ass for saving Britain in WWII. Really, you'd think there would be more respect coming from Britain because of that. >.>
Although the U.S. was a little shady in that it delayed helping Britain until it was the most profitable action. Of course this makes sense, but still shady.

Also, rofl at the first part. So true.

To be honest spell I was attempting to aid my fellow Brits even tho ur only sticking up for USA! USA! Now that they all splodeed off and left me I'm gunna piss some other people off.
Nobody ever made this "U.S. v. Britain", I have no idea where you got that idea.

I can't spell and I don't give a splode, call me a dumm splode if you like... It is true tho, I mean what your sayin. Especially you, your a very smart successful person if you do say so yourself.

Now if I read everything correctly and I did, you already referred to the people your arguing against as kids. But I suppose winning an argument with a group of what you call kids  really does make you and your mate smart successful people.

Or you could just be a teen taking a kids forum that extra mile by attempting demonstrate your superior knowledge and gamer.

USA! USA! USA!.... U guys... Always a laugh.
Well, spell goes to Harvard, and I'm doing pretty well in highschool myself. I'd call that successful. Doesn't mean nobody else here is successful, not at all. I've seen tons of posts about successful Sploder members. I'm saying that if it's people like us that make America look bad, why does the world hate what we are (which is what I stated before).

The reason I call you kids is because, frankly, you are kids. Not only in age, but in maturity as well. I also really like using "kids" and other non-offensive words as a replacement for profanity.

Finally, I'm a 17 year old arguing my opinions on a forum. I spend most of my time in barracks with other 17+ year olds because  I don't find General interest. But when I do see a subject that I have a strong opinion on, I'm going to comment on it. And yes, go USA! I'm proud of my country. Without the people's trust and pride, a nation is not truly a nation.

Get some real arguments.

Well tbh, who are you to say people who have a negative opinion about America are brainwashed? Just because they don't agree with America being great? I generally like America, but certain things piss me off about America and certain people in it. I live in the Netherlands myself, and I have things I dislike about this place. But America just seems so full of itself sometimes. Who am I to tell whether America is great or not? Who are you guys to tell? It's an opinion about a country, don't agree? Deal with it.
I'm not saying those who have a justified dislike for America are incorrect; don't take what I'm saying wildly out of context. I respect opinions. "Brainwashed", and the other references I used, refer to those who have hugely negative opinions of Americans and the United States, but have no good reason for it. They base their hatred on stereotypes and over-exaggerations promulgated by the media. They smash Americans for being American, which is a stupid generalization. Read my comment a couple of times, then you'll get it. "Deal with it", my friend.

Emp and spell laughing thinking their clearly the smarter of two sides of the dispute....

People think America is a terrible place because of people like you.  FACT
They're* If you're trying to make some grand point us belittling others' intelligence, at least use proper grammar.

We're two smart, successful people who believe in their own opinions. Does the world hate people who have opinions, and fight for what they believe is right?

Edit: Please note that my first post has quite a few thanks. This shows that most people agree with spell and my side (which I would assume is also their own side).

Oh and I realize that sploder is filled with brainwashed children that think America is a terrible place because of what the media/their parents have told them, but please keep it contained. The phrase " 'murica " is tossed around so liberally that you kids actually believe that Americans say that. Being American doesn't make one racist, stupid, or anything else. I've seen many kids say that Americans are racist and/or generalize, but in reality judging Americans is generalization as well.

Just covering my bases early, since this topic would inevitably pop up. So shush.

well we still have to factor in cancer. As i mentioned, it caused leukemia, which could then be passed down through people's family
Poor argument. The radiation and birth defects caused by the nuclear bombs used back then, which do not contain as much power as our modern nukes, has not lead to more deaths than 9/11 has led to. This is supported by spell's post.

It also killed many innocent civilians and made entire regions radioactive.
But it prevented more potential loss of life, while 9/11 only lead to more loss of life.

The bombing of Hiroshima was necessary evil, while 9/11 was not.

Lol, no.
The bombing of Hiroshima ended a war. 9/11 started one.

Kids, please be quiet.

Emp, you should really stop looking into everything so seriously. Yes, I forgot   an "o". Sue me.
In other words, he is eleven and wants to know some good manga. xD Dude, don't worry about your age (way to descriptive to be a parent).

Don't know anything about manga, but if you need help with anime i'm here.
You should stop being an assuming jerk and, once again, grow up. I'm out of this thread. If you want to continue with this little spat do it in another thread.

I did too, until I read his other post. Dosen't seem like something like an 11 yr old kid would say. Maybey he's just kinda proud of what his kid does or whatever.
Who cares? You kids totally just derailed the thread and acted like complete tools. Spell, grow up. Also, it's "too descriptive", not "to".

Mangafox.com is a great place to find manga. You can set your search parameters to whatever you want, such as "Supernatural" and "Comedy".

Manga for an 11 year old is tough, though. Naruto is pretty good for children that age. Both "Fairy Tail" and "Rave Master" fit the comedy/fantasy theme, as does "Soul Eater". The world of manga is like a minefield. There are a lot of series out there that just wouldn't be right for an 11 year old. I recommend at least checking out the manga for free on the internet (via mangafox.com) before having your kid read them. Most of the time they're pretty easy going with a bit of violence.

Naruto
Fairy Tail
Rave Master (Similar to One Piece)
Soul Eater

One I loved back at 11 years old was "Love Hina", but it's more of a romantic comedy.

I know a ton more, so if you need more just ask. Also, the kids responding in this thread are probably 9-12 years old, pay no attention to their immaturity.

Stop whining about child whining.
I don't constantly dwell on this. Whining infers that it's constant. Spell never stops whining about the management. I just post once or twice every once in awhile. Suck it.
