While this is pretty cool, I don't see much of a point in it. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort and dedication, because this looks like a lot of work, but I don't see what it's useful for. Maybe if you were making a game where the avatar would be randomized every time, but this alone seems pointless.

Still, good job on what you have so far! :)

i respect your opinion and support you none the less  ;) just dont set the bar too high, or else if you fail (which im not saying you will) it hurts, I know this from personal experience

Thanks, I know if I ever need a hand testing something, feedback or even just a little advice I can count on you. :D

And yeah, but the satisfaction of releasing something where the outcome feels worth the time you spent on the project is totally worth it in my eyes. I understand your point, though, because I have done exactly that and failed with certain things outside of Sploder. :)

Name isn't everything. I've spent a while trying to be "a quality game maker" and look what happened? I was inactive for half a year because of boredum and frustration. As soon as I come back without standards, I get a feature on the FIRST GAME I MAKE after break

I refuse to become demotivated; I've already recently achieved one of the goals I never could years ago (a feature). I aim to continue surpassing my own expectations and if I end up slowing down, so be it. I want to be a game developer myself when I grow up and setting standards never hurts. If you don't meet them, you just figure out your weaknesses.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. As for the review, it lacks content. There is nothing set in stone for how long a review should be, but this is quite obviously too short. You are really brief with a lot of the things you cover, such as the part where you said that the thumbnail is awesome or where you said the game is always interesting - why is this the case?

You clearly show your opinion about elements of the game throughout the review, but you never seem to go into detail and therefore it isn't as such a "review".

I'm not a recruiter, so I can neither accept or deny you, but these are some points you should definitely take on board for your next review. Once again, thanks for choosing my game and good luck! :)

Why would you remove those? Just because they aren't featured doesn't mean they are bad! Plus they could be featured later on

Forget what I said about them not being feature worthy, I just wasn't happy with them because they didn't meet my standards. I want to be known as a quality game maker and I feel those games do not help my cause. This project is a way of incorporating all those games, not wasting the ideas and improving them.

Bricc Remastered Trilogy

Welcome to my big upcoming project, Bricc Remastered Trilogy. You may have noticed that my games "Oppose" and "Visualize" have been removed from my profile. This is because I am not happy with the finished products; every game released on my account should be of a high quality, and these two games don't quite meet my standards. I was going to make Raft: Expansion, however I will instead combine it into this game to create a game containing 3 remastered versions of my old games which contain much better art and improved gameplay.

The first 3 levels will be Raft: Remastered. It will be the replacement for Raft: Expansion, because the truth is I don't feel like making a full game for it, especially as it uses the same concept as my previously published game, Raft. The first level will be fairly easy and reminiscent of the first level of Raft and very easy. I won't spoil any details about the next two levels since they are completely original and not based off any areas in the original Raft. The gameplay in Raft: Remastered will be much more consistent than the original and pretty much bug free. I am really looking forward to showcasing this in the future.

The next 3 levels will be Visualize: Remastered. The original game was fairly well received, but failed to achieve a feature and I knew I could improve on it much more. As with all of the games within the trilogy, the first level will be much easier than the other two. The original game was put together very quickly without enough planning and that is why it didn't do as well as I had hoped. I hope to add a few new twists in this edition of Visualize and hope you will all enjoy it.

The final 2 playable levels will be Oppose: Remastered. This is a game that I had some really neat ideas for, but failed to execute well because I got tired of working on the project too quickly. In this remastered version, I hope to include some of those ideas and make it a much more enjoyable experience. Instead of the player rolling instantly, the player will have time to plan out their route for it to go and then press a simulate button to start, similar to Raft. There will be more ways to kill the player in this version and may or may not continue to be solely keyboard based; the mouse may be involved with this version too! I hope I can make up and satisfy you with this version as opposed to the original... :))

So there you have it, this is what I am and have been working on. I hope you like the idea of this, where I have 3 games combined into one, but with each one being improved in just about every way. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this gets received!

I kept these games so you can play through them if you want and see how much better the Bricc Remastered Trilogy is once it's released.

Wow rlly? And yes, There is a 4th one yet to come (Like a championship) and I will even remake the tracks in harder versions. If we continue like this it could even bring back up the activity in the MS!

Yeah, you seem to put a good amount of effort into the tracks and hosting it, and I appreciate that. I think it could definitely help with main site activity since it encourages those to play games who otherwise might not. I'm going to PM you about something, actually.

Nice! I think SDGP is a really cool idea, and I think you should continue to make more. Maybe after this one wait a week or so though, so people won't get bored of participating. I'd be happy to continue partnering with future SDGPs. :)

I have a girlfriend and I still don't care about Valentine's Day... I refuse to leave my house at all today. :))

I see the point in it and all, but I agree that people without a valentine are seen as outcasts and I don't think that's how it should be.

A while ago, I made an RPFG called Splodercards. Generic name, but it gets the point across. The cards were really tedious to make, however, and it didn't end up going very far.

I recently had some ideas that I think would be extremely cool, but if you guys aren't going to find it interesting then I don't want to waste my time making it.

I would make myself a little program to make cards really easily, so it won't be tedious to do so any more, meaning there won't be a lack of cards. Then, my idea was to have cards earned in various ways, some of which promoting main site activity. For example, to unlock the Bricc card, you'd have to complete Raft. There'd be many other ways too, and I thought we could have a global ranking system to see who is the best/won the most battles.

And speaking of battles, I was thinking of making some sort of multiplayer game. It would be very reminiscent of Card Jitsu from Club Penguin, because it's easy to understand and very fun.

Everything would be live; I would make a small website where you can login, see your stats and play live battles.

It's just an idea to revamp Splodercards and make it something more interesting and unique. What do you think?

Tk had thanking, awards, somewhat active admins and the online list and recent topics on boards shown by default with no need to run an external script.  I don't know why all those features are missing from this forum.

Geoff said he wouldn't be able to add a lot of the old plugins due to security vulns. He's not going to risk our security for a couple of extra features.

Maybe we can add separate color floors on the classic shooter maker... it helps when you make like environmental stuff

Or just a new poly type that doesn't affect gameplay but you can change its colour.

"Experience" works as well. Your experience was essentially wiped after you were banned and created a new account.

As well as achieving more features, you should try to achieve some in different creators, understanding the feature standards of multiple creators will greatly increase your chances of passing.

I have to admit, I partially disagree; I still know the standards of a feature worthy game and how things work. That's like me saying that you're new because you created your account "Seanthechinaman" a month ago.

I would agree with going out of my comfort zone and getting features with other creators, but if I were to be an editor I probably wouldn't really feature games of other types. Maybe I will go for Arcade next.

You should spend some of that thumbnail coverage discussing gameplay elements more integral to a feature, deep and well informed analysis is more important than the usual pillars of reviewing in Editor Applications. Aside from your application, the general consensus is that you don't have enough experience for the role, especially considering your past in positions of power.

You do however demonstrate understanding of some of the core elements of feature worthy games, and thus I wish you the best of luck in your next application.

I have enough experience, what I think you mean is that my level of trust hasn't gotten back up to a good enough number yet. Therefore I'll probably wait until I have my mod badge and a little bit longer to give myself more credibility. By then I'll probably have more features and whatnot too.
