Title: Long live to the Javascript
Post by: samuraibiz on March 14, 2019, 08:27 am
What do you think of redoing the current creators in Javascript? Would that prevent Sploder from dying?

I'm sure that Geoff has considered this, and will work on it at some point.

This discussion would be better suited for the Game Discussion board by the way, you should move it there, we're in need of some activity in Game Discussion.

Honestly, there are so many alternatives like that or WebGL, etc.

Unity will actually rock because it even makes 3D games. It can be hard though. He's welcome to do whatever it takes to save sploder, no one cares how cheap or bad the script is because we still need the games.

WebGL is a 3D engine AFAIK. It's basically OpenGL for web applications. Unity isn't bad but isn't as efficient as starting from scratch. It does offer an user interface, though.
