Title: World War Z
Post by: Image on June 22, 2013, 09:33 am
This is the perfect zombie movie, because half of the dialogue is screaming.

Also, for the "realism" factor, the cameraman has a severe case of Parkinson's.
It makes it look like a zombie apocalypse could really happen! Like a documentary!
I've never seen that done before in a movie!

Cloverfield, Saving Private Ryan, Man of Steel, Quarantine, Paranormal Activity, Paranormal Activity 2, Paranormal Activity 3...

Yeah it looks cool I guess.  Honestly though I don't like zombie movies.  If you wanna see millions of people die and stuff get blown up, go see man of steel lol

I've been wanting to see it lol, idk now haha. If you're ignoring the plot and just want to see drama/splode going down, is it worth a watch?

After it was clear that the plot was as flat as a pre-pubescent girl, I was trying to snooze.

But I couldn't even fit a good nap in because of how loud the entire movie is.

The music is good. If you're just going for a popcorn flick that can be fun with your friends, then it could be worth a single watch (not multiple).

I read about half of the book a couple years ago. The book was very interesting. It was sorta like a documentation of what happened instead of a zombie thriller. Like, an account of the experiences people had during the zombie apocalypse.

The best way to have done the movie of the book would be in a fictional documentary format. Maybe in a style similar to District 9. This was definitely not meant to be a simple action thriller AT ALL imo.

I didn't even know it was a zombie movie till a commercial recently (which is awesome advertising for me, because it was mysterious).  I wanted to see it and probably still because that one scene with all the people climbing the bodies like maniacs on the wall is bone chilling.

Even though I didn't care it for it...
That part was probably one of the most memorable moments I've ever seen in a movie like this.

Like at the beginning, you don't know how the people became zombies.
At the end, splode, you still don't know.

At the beginning, there is a long montage of "climate change" reports, which made me laugh. Kind of sneaking those messages into a movie, it reminded me of Avatar .

Have you seen any other new movies?

Just watched it.

I score it 6.5/10

It wasn't bad and terrible like Image portrayed.  It jumps straight into action and is pretty suspenseful.  I am usually a person who isn't gotten easily by jumpscares and it got me several times.  The storyline is pretty good and I like the connections he makes leading to the end.  I wish at least one mission would go right you know?  It is so predictable to know something will mess up, but whatevs.  NEEDED MORE DEATH, COWBELL, AND GARFIELD.

Suck it Image.
