 - - - UNDERSTANDING THE GAME SYSTEM - - -

This game runs on an experience and equipment driven ideology. You gain experience points and equipment points from killing enemies. Experience points can be spent on leveling up the stats of your character. Equipment points can be spent to get new armor and weapons, upgrade those two things, and buy various boosters for during battle usage.

The actual battling will be by random choice. Like most real RPG's, the time between attacking does not matter, and neither does it here. Once you make your move, I will calculate it using a Random Number Generator. Your opponent will also be calculated by a Random Number Generator.

Essentially you will get stronger and be able to defeat stronger opponents. Unlike other RPFG's this one has an ending - lets see if you all can make it that far! (after you beat the final boss, I'm kicking you out so others have the chance to play).

 - HOW FIGHTING WORKS -
You are only able to use 2 actions per turn. No matter what action that may be, you can only use 2. The only exception is with Special Abilities or Boosters that may temporary boost them. Here are the following actions permitted:
 - Use weapon/shield on opponent: obvious.
 - Block if shield is equipped: will block for current turn only.
 - Aim: Will increase your accuracy by 25% only for current round.
 - Evade: You can try and dodge an attack. 15% chance for melee and 50% chance for ranged.
 - Use Booster: Obvious
 - Run Away: Flee from the current battle. Nothing is gained and used boosters aren't given back.

During a battle, you may only bring 2 pieces of equipment and 3 boosters during battle.

 - - - STORY MODE - - -
Complete the Legend of Sploder story. You can pick up and leave off wherever you wish between battles, there is not specific time limit. You can change difficulty any time between battles.

 - - - TRAINING MODE - - -
Instead of continuing the story, you will just fight random monsters to help you level up.

- - - COOPERATIVE MODE - - -
Engage in the Legend of Sploder story together! You can only partner up with 1 person at a time. You may enter co-op time with another user at any time, but they must be on the same mission. It may be advisable to take on some missions/bosses with a partner. You may enter training mode with a partner.

 - - - BATTLE MODE - - -
Fight eachother, see just who is really the strongest! You can place a bet on the match with EXP/EQI Points or items - bets are up to you, though betting is not required. 1v1 and 2v2 battles are the currently only acceptable ones.

 - - - - -EXPERIENCE - - - - -
The backbone to every fighter are experience points. These determine basic stats and effectiveness of certain weapons as well as special abilities. Will you choose to be a balanced fighter or will you power up one skill immensely?

 - QUICK REFERENCE CHART -
COST PER TIER
5 : 10 : 15 : 20

AMOUNT INCREASED
[1][1][1][1][1]:[1][2][2][2][2]:[2][3][3][3][3]:[3][4][4][4][5]

- EXPLANATION -
One [ ] represents one level up. The cost of each box increases as each tier increases. For the first live level ups, it will cost 5 EXP points. Tier 2 costs 10 EXP points. Tier 3 costs 15 EXP poitns. Tier 4 costs 20 EXP points. The amount in the [ ] represents how many points you increase by. As you see, the higher level you get, the more points you attribute. The only exception to this rule is the Special Ability, which I will talk about below.

HP: Represents your health. Higher health allows you to take more punishment!
M.   Attack: Governs damage dealt by all melee attacks & what melee weapons you can use.
Ran Attack: Governs accuracy of all ranged weapons & what ranged weapons you can use.
Defense: Governs what kind of armor you can wear.
Sp. Ability: Once you complete a tier, you unlock an ability that helps you with your fighting! You will have a few to choose from, and you cannot change it, so be careful.

 - SPECIAL ABILITIES -
A very good point to know, all special abilities have a recharge time. You can only perform a special ability as often as specified.

Aside from your Start Kit, which includes the same special ability, you can unlock more as you purchase points. YOU MAY ONLY CHOOSE ONE OF THE TWO ABILITIES PER TIER. You keep all previous Special Abilities selected, so it may be useful to use a weaker ability twice in one battle rather than one strong one. A Special Ability does count for a move. Not all Special Abilities work for every enemy.

 - Ability

 - - - ENEMY INFO - - -
When you enter a fight, you might want to know some basics about the enemy you are fighting, so here is a compilation of some of the enemies you will be facing.

 - WHAT ENEMIES CAN DO -
Enemies can perform the following:
 - Attack: will deal damage to you if hit.
 - Evade: will attempt to dodge your attack
 - Block: will absorb a certain percentage of damage.
 - Aim: increase accuracy through an action
 -
Enemies can use more or less than 2 actions per turn. Sorry, life isn't always fair.
