Yes, I do realize the irony of being forced to have gifts and not wanting anything, but that really is just how I feel.

So I mentioned in this thread that I didn't care about what I got for Christmas and didn't necessarily want anything. I told my family this. Instead of going well and being seen as a nice thing, as you would expect it to turn out, it's apparently a bad thing so now I'm stuck in a situation where I have to think of very specific presents that I want but I really don't want anything. I really don't.

I'm surprised no one's said Torchic for Gen 3. I fared better with that than with Treecko, though I haven't tried Mudkip yet, but Torchic is pretty good and becomes pretty badass when it evolves into Blaziken.

I haven't messed with Gen 1 in a long time, but I'm pretty sure my first pick was Squirtle because it was the most recognizable one to met at the time.

Yeah, don't really know too much on Pokemon either. Haven't played anything else either.

Hang on, I found a loophole.

The topic doesn't say "only one food", it just says "one food" without specifying "only" so I can just choose any food I want to and I can now eat that food in addition to the foods I eat on a normal basis. It doesn't say anywhere that the food I choose is the only one I can eat.

Regarding foods with extras, varieties, etc., would I be able to change the type each time I eat it would I have to pick one type and stick with it? For example, with pizza, could I change the toppings each time at my will or do I have to pick one set of toppings and stick with that? Same question could be asked for foods like sandwiches, tacos, pretty much anything with a base that you fill in with several assorted foods.

Then there's foods with different flavors. Would I be able to choose the flavor each time or do I have to pick one flavor and stick with that? What about brands and types? For example, if someone gave "chocolate" as an answer, would that lump every different chocolate type and brand together as one, or would I need to choose one specific brand and type and I only eat that one?

Asking the important questions here.

As much as I like Butterfingers, they really splode up your teeth when you eat them.

Is it me, or has it gotten more dead around here? :(
Not just you. It has indeed gotten more dead around here, though Geoff has been getting a lot more active recently.

Happy late birthday. I'm also surprised you're only 16 now. I thought you were older than that.

Don't know you too well either (in addition to like 5 other people), but you do seem like a pretty nice member.

General / Re: Spongebob seasons 1-3 are so splodeing good
« on: December 03, 2017, 03:13 PM »
Those are everyone's opinions on the show.

Honestly though, I think season 5 was also a mixed bag and had much more good episodes than season 6. It had some really good episodes (Spy Buddies, Krabs a la Mode, Roller Cowards, The Krusty Sponge, Sing a Song of Patrick, among some others and I also kinda like Slimy Dancing), but it had some really bad episodes too.

Basically, the good episodes of season 5 are REALLY good and the bad episodes are REALLY bad. Season 6 onwards however is just where the show started losing itself badly. They're not all bad, but some of the episodes just don't really do much. I haven't actually seen any of seasons 9 or 10 yet so I don't know how that compares.

Though it has been years since I've really sat down and watched SpongeBob though.

I haven't seen very much from you at all lately. It was nice talking to you back in the day and iirc you were the first one I told about this new account. I know you used to make a lot of great games as well but I don't think you do anymore?
Anyway you're a nice guy to talk to and you've gotten a bit more relaxed lately. You'd have a pretty good shot at soldier if you were more involved in the community if I'm honest.
Yeah, sometimes I just feel nothing too exciting happens here and have little reason to come on. I would keep game making if I had any ideas I think are worth working on, but I simply don't. If the 3D creator were to ever come out, I'd probably get a resurgence back in it.

I think almost everyone does this. I do. It would be nice if there was a way to track your thanks so you know who thanked you, when and where, but I don't know how difficult it would be to implement this.

I used to be super excited about Christmas and getting all of the presents. But naturally as I've gotten older, I'm starting to care less about it. I could get absolutely nothing for Christmas this year and be perfectly okay with that. Obviously not going to happen because I already have a present wrapped and will have more come my way, but I think you understand what I'm trying to say.

We're Americans. We're weird. End of story.

Holy splode that's unfortunate. I hope he pulls through and I hope the goal is fulfilled. We're always here to support you when you need it.

Sometimes I would get the top gem and sometimes I wouldn't. I was now able to fully complete the game (unfortunately I wasn't logged in so I didn't get on the leaderboard). The game, though short, is a nice little thinking game and not the usual type of game we see on the site. I thought the difficulty was right around the sweet spot too. The curve was well done and the later levels needed good thought to get through them, but weren't too strenuously difficult.

I decided to feature it. Despite it's simple and short gameplay, I still consider it a lot better and interesting than other games that have tried to be featured lately (not pointing any fingers). As for what Meow said, I don't think featuring games like that is necessarily a bad thing. Cian made a one-level (and intro) Mindsweeper game where the map is randomly generated every time. I featured that and no one seemed to mind that being featured, so I don't think people would mind this either. It's short, simple, but sweet and really well made.

Level 5 is kinda tricky. The gems themselves are easy to get, but getting all of them in one run makes me have to do some really weird stuff with my hands. I either get the top one in the first part and miss the second part, or get the second part fine and miss the top gem in the first part.

This is probably true ngl xD
Even if it is true, I'm pretty certain that it's all just in good fun and no one actually legitimately hates me.

Basically what Galla said, but something very important to not is just because you're not a Soldier doesn't mean you're not a good member or that people don't like you. I've been a Private for nearly 4 years now, and I like to think that I'm a pretty well liked member here.

General / Re: What are your sploder goals?

Not really much. Really just Soldier and become more active/better at game making. I would really like to get an EGL game, though I highly doubt that will ever happen.

Thought of making an Uno joke, but I'm probably not clever enough to do that on the spot.

But this is great anyway. You definitely deserved it.

You need to get to 500.

It was good. We fried a turkey and it was insane. Lol
How bout yours?
Great. Had probably the best Thanksgiving meal I've had in a long time if not ever. Usually I just eat the turkey and one other thing, but this time I actually had a bit of everything served and it was really nice. As per tradition for me, I ate coffee cake for breakfast while watching the parade. Absolutely delicious.
