Cheers though haha! I just draw whatever comes to mind. Thought it'd be fun to depict a mini-sploder village or something.

Since I've been feeling in the mood for drawing stuff, I knew it'd come to this.

But nonetheless since I don't know what else to think, I decided to showcase it around sploder.

Testing it out for the first time but here's a few I've done already just for kicks.

I'm willing to do more overtime, you can request for one if you want. It doesn't have to be a portrait just like I did with the last one.

but at least it's something to do here while the gameshow is playing slow for awhile

Most of the site's inactivity can be attributed to these unrealistic standards we've set for games. Everyone including myself had tons of fun playing comedic PPGs and quickly made minigames because like you said, that's exactly what this site is meant for. Now that nobody makes games like this anymore, the site isn't as fun as it used to be. Big games aren't bad and both huge projects and hour long ones can exist in harmony, but currently nobody is comfortable with having silly little projects on their portfolio because of the current expectations games have.

I can definitely toast to that.

Only moments ago, this site used to exist in a world where art shooters, rollercoaster games, subtle wizard-owl parodies and why-kids-shouldn't-do-this rocketed the mainsite in flying colors. It was like learning how to ride a bike and the feeling you got was like obtaining a one-way-ticket of enthusiasm to a career in game making, it felt engaging and pretty much something I used to be excited about doing everyday coming home after school.

I'd honestly love to see the same style being delivered to this site again, where it doesn't have to be people having to lead busy lives to attribute to their absence from here. If more people can appreciate game making without having to shy or setting the bar for themselves to get on par with ''the greats'' (as you may call it) and expect defeat, then it's really one of the ways the whole hype can liven up again. I'd be down for it to just kill my coffee-break just for this if enjoying it means breaking me out of the pattern of pressurising myself to just get a worthwhile featured game.

I suppose the standards were raised overtime because there's since been a big gap since the creators were updated so everyone's just bored of the current canvas since by now it's all tried extensively and really just looking for creativity to call it a win-win.
That said; I honestly don't know if the new creator will instill the same magnitude of activity to the site as other creators did, since so much time has passed, but seeing how complicated and diverse it'll turn out to be (if it does get released), the possibilities are endless though. If that wasn't his last project here anyway. All other alternatives boils down to advertising but I'm not bought if that's an easy stretch.

But if I'm wrong and it does revamp the site, then I'd definitely buy back my two cents in here any day and remember this site other than just its social factor in my dying days here.

Honestly, my life atm. Most definitely, the constant imbalance between picking up a hobby and what I want to do, and my academic priorities which pretty much spells nothing more than a setback to my other areas of development.

The feeling of being free is a dream I could hope for when I'm constantly running from one to the next and it all just happens subsconsciously.
