life, life, life
it showed no frown
a meadow of flowers and none withered
i jumped up and i didnt fall down

i woke up hella early
at the crack of dawn
in the guest room she lied
now shes no where to be sawn
looked out of the window
warm fuzzy sun showed it was still dawn
and her honda hyundai was not on my lawn

looked at the silver shined doorknob
it was left unlocked
was i robbed? everything was still in place
the silence i bared, where was she
all that was left was her watch
the one that i gave to her as a gift
which in suspense it silently ticked tocked

under the watch it gave me a shock
it was a note and it wrote
in lovely purple pilot pen
which is her favorite color
i started to read before being rudely disturbed
by the screams of my annoying brother

as it read, but i will not quote
the damaging and painful words that she wrote
my soul breaking with every letter
and turning the page over it did not get any better
alas she said
This is not going well for me
Being with you is not sunny weather

i went to call her
in suspense again her watch silently ticked tocked
after four unsuccessful attempts of calling
it turns out i have been blocked

life, life, life
i collapsed on the floor
my face had the biggest frown
i sunk to the ground
all the flowers in the meadow have turned brown

miserably moaning on the floor
irritated by the screams of my brother
i wished i could go back in time
to the night before
to once again
tell her
how much
i love her

Lock-in
Title: Somwhere Aestate Morti Relinquo
Type: Sonnet

Of which I am deprived, no horror
Take it as I am, I'm not alone
My dreams died long ago, now I'm just a mourner
I walked the path straight to hell, the whole thing's made of stone.

Keep it aside, I don't need the tide
I didn't ask to be washed away
Brokenhearted, I only meant to be kind
I take every word you say

The morning is mourning for the night
Sit back and watch my goring
After your done, go and take flight
I know my life is boring

Kill me now, kill me now
The world is just too loud
Soaring into the brightest shroud
Or whatever the grim reaper allows

Set in seven, selling center
Speak with the scientists and the inventors
Doctors and the teachers about the tormenters
Only to find out the hell that they sent her

Blades like grass shoot out from under
Something I'd like to keep
Apply the plant to all my dead wonders
My skin bleeds of seeds

Cut the greens so far deep
Make me suffer and cry
You already made me feel so dirty and cheap
Just slice up my insides

Is this how it is when no one is an ally?
A world with no care or fruition
Break me down then become a butterfly
Deprive me of my nutrition

It's sad to see my life go down in pieces
But maybe its what the demons needed

Im going to enter because why the splode not!
I wrote this as a song that didnt rhyme so I guess this can work?
I mean its worth a shot.
___
There is only one step to make a girl distressed
Take away what makes her happy
It will devastate her, tear her to shreds
Like a sharp pair of scissors through a weak piece of paper
What you did will tear shatter her soul
Into pieces

And piece by piece that happiness
Is replaced by sadness and gloom
You feel uplifted, like a plane
Flying high, better than before
And she feels broken, like a branch
That snapped off a dying tree

That tree she was living off of
Has been wilted and destroyed
By the winter that seems to be everlasting
She has fallen from the tree
Broken and abused
Ready to decompose

Why do you do this
It kills not only her, but me
To see my favorite tree now fragmented
Ever so frail

She slowly sinks away
She sinks into the earth
And as soon as you begin to feel guilt
She is beneath the ground, never to be seen again

Title: The Artist
Type: Rhyming

The artist with his heart in malice makes his art his solace picks up his artists palette
Paints a picture so vivid it remains in the scripture of his mind, it's hard to be callous
When emotions flood the canvas, yet hoping to get another chance at it yet stagnant
To change what he sees, struggling to maneuver through the madness
We as humans shoot to see what happens like the artist paints his canvas
It's hard to say what happens, just that we do it with some, nay lots of reckless abandon
So we can believe we had it, our relief is scattered in the fields of magnets
The world exacting lashes of heartache and rewards it deems for the masses
In the eyes of the artist, he paints and paints letting his mind flow
For the creatures, we see as us beneath the brush messing with time slow
Painting lights to ruin the skies flow, now I wonder where will I go
The brush is luscious, but it is careless although careful with hope
Slathered by the people slaughtered by their cries to its indifference yet
It is a tool like we are all fools, he who smithed it had imprisoned it
We wonder the character of the artist, staring at our hardships
And look in the vastness, shook at the blackness and ask this
"Was there ever an artist after all"?

lock in entry

Title: Something's Amist

Something's amist
In the deep blue sea
And the only thing that is found there are the bees in my knees

I fly in the ocean
To find what is there
But I guessed this would happen, I'm lost out of nowhere

I try to swim north,
East, south and west,
But I couldn't find my way out, maybe it's for the best.

I wait there for help,
There's nothing there,
I wait there for help,
There's nothing there.

Drowning [final lock in]

Floating.
Drifting.
We are all in the ocean.
Drowning.
Sinking.
Going with the motions.

A hero appears.
Up above, search and rescue,
Reaching his helping hand down below.

I reach out, trying not to fall.
Looking back at the others all.
As I rise, they look so small.
As I ascend, to them I call.

Some caught in the brawl.
Some are appalled.
Some cannot reach.
Some jump and fall.

As I ascend, emotions rise in me.
I have fear.
Shed a tear.
Bodies below me disappear.

I don't understand.
I want to fall.
I want to fall.
This does not feel like being rescued at all.
Torn between my life and those of the ones left behind.
I cry.
I cry.

In the safety of his arms, I cry.
Looking down
As they drown,
I wish I could fly.
It is just too much.
I want to die.
Inside,
I find
It would not be right.
I know
I go.
I try...

Floating.
Drifting.
They are all in the ocean.
Drowning.
Sinking.
Going with the motions.

A hero appears.
Up above, search and rescue,
Reaching her helping hand down below.
Thanks: lavalinn

The Hellion of the Absinthe

Restlessly he never sits unsown, now he must forever be alone
The man sits solemnly chilled, sobbing – numerously – doubtfully without tone
Hearing nothing but a creak – at the rusted old door
Only once a creak he had heard
The ring still lies on his faded finger
“Cara,” quoth the ring, perched upon his faded finger

And in summary, there are no such things as happy endings – no!
The fading of his wedded wife – the fading of this wretched life, he thought
The green bottle sits on the desk – almost empty –almost grotesque!
Bitter, richer, sicker – liquor! Yes, the liquor sitting on the desk
His hand cupped the bottle – ridding the bottle of liquid lying on the desk.

The clock striking 12 O’ clock, a knock came to the door
His blood tingled – shattered! “Must be a Mormon waiting at the door.”
For now the sounds of snores have been whispering through the night
His mind made him feel something as of him wanting blood and gore
Jumping, he remarked, “Fetch, you fiend! From off my front door”
From then he dropped down, giving what he thought to be a Mormon quite a fright

And with such agony – with such dread, his head turned to hear
Tortuously listening, widened grew his ear
Soon came a tapping– coming from the sound of his ear
And then came a knocking
The second knocking – a loud knocking, at his front door
“Your sorrow grows absent, without the ring,” a whisper came from the door

And now once upon this cold winter night
He must be polite, neither the beast wrong nor right
Outside lied the beast, not knowing wrong nor right
While the forgetful, bleak December made his mind feel of something sore
He finally reached with much more agony, upon his front door
But now he stopped frozen, as if he heard something of a roar

Open, flew the door! He turned slowly as he curiously shook, now looked
The visitor stood as his eyes burned as with something of a smolder
He stared - cautiously, as the eye of the beholder
His body lies still, for this unwanted guest
All he saw was a demon, grinning as if possessed
“Good evening,” he paused,” I am your truth.” He spoke in jest

His hands lie in agony, frozen legs still lying on the floor
The hellion, tapping, his neck slowly snapping, walking towards him with intent
“I not one only lacking – just lacking in mind this evening December” remarked the man
The clock ticking still as the hellion still lies as the man stands venting
Fermenting, nearly denting the demon then said, “You still lie relenting.”
He spoke again “Sorrowful and un-presenting, your loneliness will soon be augmenting”

The man thought, “only this of a nightmare, not true to the public eye!”
His face turning more wicked, broken and wicked he now must lie
The hellion then remarked, “Your sorrow is unwoven, until now you lie unspoken”
With a quick remark the man yelled,” For only then I lie unspoken, you beast – you hellhound – leave my solitude unbroken!"
The devilish shadow jumped,” I know propose you a key – only now I offer you this token.”
The hellion now clutching his collar

The hellion said “Your sadness will always lie unwoken”
The demon, clutching a blade in his broken hand, as if made of sand
“Get this hellion off of me – I scream – I cry – I beg!” he yells little, like a strand
Again he lies unspoken, a blade piercing his chest, and now if blessed – no longer holding command
The ring now lying on the hellion’s faded finger – the hellion now tapping to the door.

And now once upon this cold winter night, the man has had his fright
The blade still sits on the faded floor, the man gone, but still holding a shiver
Pierced through his chest, sitting in his liver
No one alarmed, as if no tragedy, the man was no giver
But the print – the print lying on the blade sitting on the wretched floor
The print of the man's own fingers lying on the black handle, in front of his bloody door

My own

My own things I keep.
My own things I share.
For others are just cheap.
Or they do care.

I own my life.
I own my house.
But then took them my wife.

So I don't own alone.
My self-ownership is gone.

I own my money.
I own my time.
But then it belonged to my country.

So I don't own alone.
My self-ownership is gone.

I own my space.
I own my job.
But then it blew up in my face.

And as I think it off again.
Now that I'm alone.
In the end.
What do I really own?
