Is sploder ending?

Okay okay okay, It's taken me a good 6 years to get an account on this forum and I've recently found out that sploder, A site that has been with me for a good portion of my childhood is getting shut down? I apologise if this is a repost but Can someone please elaborate?? Thank you

No, it is not getting shut down. But the creators could be at jeopardy.

Adobe Flash is supposed to be retired by early 2020, at which stage anything fueled by Flash will stop working. HTML5 seems to be the new preferred technology for integrating articles like Sploder's creators. Geoff has told us that some of the creators could be converted from Flash into HTML5, and perhaps quite easily too. Our best course of action as normal members should always be to stir mainsite activity and invite new members, this is how we maintain Geoff's attention.

It needs to be emphasized that Sploder is NOT ending. Spreading horror stories about the death of Sploder will NOT help morale either, spread positive messages instead.

As far as I've heard, Sploder won't be closed unless the time comes where it is more or less totally nonfunctional. The removal of flash will only end the life of the game creators, not the rest of the website. If Geoff manages to port them over to HTML5, or even one or two of them, Sploder has a chance of sticking around for longer.
