Straight Guys and Pink Shirts
« on: June 25, 2013, 09:34 am »
I'm straight but I have some pink shirts I wear.
Thoughts?
Some people told me it seemed gay, but to me I just wear what I want.

Pink: it is supposedly for boys so they will look relaxed and not to overpower their masculinity.

Blue: it is supposedly for girls so they will look more masculine and not to overpower their femininity, also to make them more brave and strong.

Pink isn't for girls and gays, it is supposed to be for boys. But they(gays, girls, tomboys, boys) can wear the color if they want.
Blue isn't for boys and tomboys, it is supposed to be for girls. But they(boys, tomboys, girls, gays) can wear the color if they want.

Thats more sexist than thinking pink is for girls and blue for boys.  It's also incorrect apropo societal views

You basically just said gays aren't supposed to wear a colour. What? It's a freaking colour, who gives a damn. Treyt can wear pink if he wants, or blue for that matter.

A colour is just a colour; it can resemble a meaning, such as jealousy for green, but overall it means nothing. No one will judge you for wearing a certain colour, if they do then you know who to trust.

You can wear whatever you want to wear. Just if you wear a pink shirt it doesn't mean you are gay. ._.

Sorry, pink shirt+guy=gay
Someone had to tell the truth.
When I see a guy with a pink shirt I think "Soft ass punk" Weather it's true or not.
Kinda like if I saw a guy walking around wearing a tutu.

But..this rule applies more to white guys. Black guys can pull it off a little better than us. I think it's the skin tone contrast that takes away some of the softness of the pink. Any of this make sense lol?

A boy at my old school, I knew him really well, he is not gay, but his favorite color is pink and he dressed up as a princess instead of a prince one day when we had to come in fancy dress, it was the funniest day ever. None called him gay that day, we all had a laugh, so don't be ashamed to wear pink. In fact I think that pink suits boys better than blue xD

Anyone? No? just me...

I think it's a fashion that boys are dressing up like a girl and girls are dressing up like a boy.

But hey, because I'm gay.
I'm 21 years old and I amn't ashamed. I get bullied cuz I'm gay.
But that doesn't mean I date lesbians.
My wife is a lesby, so yeah. Nothing wrong.
I wear pink shoes everyday. So what?
Derpface.

I'm confused now.....

uh no.

How can a colour differ a person's personality?
It doesn't, but it can change people's perception of you. I KNOW that intellectually it doesn't matter what you wear. Arnold Schwarzenegger in a dress is still Arnold, BUT my first thought will instinctually be "punk". I can't help it.  Question...do u actually like wearing that color or is it following a fad? I mean, hey, if you like it wear it

By the way whoever smited me is a hater.....probably wearing a pink shirt when they did it lol.

Yeah, wearing certain things makes people view you accordingly.  If I wore a cop uniform and was like: "Why do you guys use the stereotype that I'm a cop? Just because I wear this outfit doesn't make me a cop"  Wearing certain things doesn't make you something, but you'll sure as hell look like it.

Right! And, sadly most people will never take the time to actually see past that.
