Lol, no.
The bombing of Hiroshima ended a war. 9/11 started one.

Kids, please be quiet.

It also killed many innocent civilians and made entire regions radioactive.

Hiroshima was a military city, New York was not.

Both were terrible though, not one is worse than the other as many civilians were killed in both.

Around 66,000 people died because of the bombings in Hiroshima.

Around 300,000 people died because of the attack on 9/11. Not to mention the 1.2 trillion dollars that USA spent alone because of the attack on 9/11.

so running planes into a building is worse than using nuclear weapons and making regions be radioactive for many years?
well den.

The direct attack on 9/11 and what it caused is worse than the bombings on Hiroshima and what it caused.

How so? It's clearly going to turn into a flame war.

I was also a Solider for over a year before the mass demotion.

Really? It's clearly going to turn into a flame war? That statement has been used in every argument and has never been true.

And what does being a soldier two years ago have to do with anything?

If you include the second bombing at Nagasaki that number jumps to around 150,000–246,000+
also, it caused the survivors of the  bombing to have cancer, such as lukemia

Everyone should be patriotic (btw generalizing an entire population will start more fights than this thread ever will). And from what I have seen the british sploder community is just as patriotic.

Actually the deaths were estimated to be from, 150,000 to 200,000. While the estimated deaths due to the 9/11 attack are 227,000-300,000 and rising.

Yeah, we probably are and we might have started arguing if this thread was about us. But it's not, and I was just saying that some, not all, Americans would argue in this thread and turn it into a flame war. I didn't mean to offend you, sorry.

Why do you have to be patriotic? If a country slaughters people of their own, does it still aply? I think freedom also means being able to have an opinion about your own country, even if it is America.

It also killed many innocent civilians and made entire regions radioactive.
But it prevented more potential loss of life, while 9/11 only lead to more loss of life.

The bombing of Hiroshima was necessary evil, while 9/11 was not.
