Gah, PPG expert needed
« on: February 22, 2013, 09:40 pm »
I have a strange bug in a game I am casually messing with that messes up the movement, compare before you shoot the turret to after you shoot the turret (in the movement of the robot).

link

Any solutions (the game is copyable)

I'm no professional, but is the issue that the robot moves fairly quick when at an accelerated speed without the shooting, but when you start to fire, the robot loses it's speed, and goes back into the original speed? Like, the shooting slows the robot down?

By the way, this is the cleanest looking robot PPG i've ever seen, and i'm not joking. Seriously.
The reason why some people play computer games or go on forums is this; the judgement is sound. In real life, people judge you by your looks and by everything unfairly, but virtually, it is all about your personality. It is so easy to fake your personality virtually, so it's easy to become popular.

The issue is with the turret, not his gun X_X

Thanks, I am trying to go for an over-sterile/retro style to match the atmosphere I plan to have in the future.

Make the gun arm thing NOT a stick to background and rotate make it the thing on the top. Then connect the robo body and arm. Simple. Glad I could help Rav!

Variable height jumping via thrusters (Pressing w for longer lets you jump slightly higher)

But ravi, you are the PPG expert

I'm proficient at it, but not perfect.
