Right now, we have enough, but there are about 2 or 3 with the same amount of thanks, one including mine...
So, spell, if there's already 3 with a high amount of thanks, but another 3 or more with the same, would you pick 2 applications that you thought were the best?
All ties are included.

1. I don't know, I guess it's just basically giving a hand to any members in need, helping out in tough situations and just overall making things easier for all of us. But what I think it mainly means is to help out the sploder community and the members of the site itself to prevent any negative events from occurring. Now, some believe that holding that moderator badge is something that will attract a lot of popularity, fill them with a lot of friend requests and expect to see 10 awards per day. Completely incorrect. Becoming an MSM is a task that not everyone's up for, you need to honour that commitment. Overall, what becoming a MSM means to me is supporting the community and making it a better place, and I'm willing to make that contribution.

2. Some of the main powers I know of:

- Bans and warnings: Used by most MSM's when a member starts a tough situation, examples could include: flaming, bullying, insults, etc. Upon a first or second offense a warning would be most necessary, since it tells the member what they did wrong and it reminds them not to do it again. They'll know they we're warned, since there will be a temporary message on their profile which goes away on its own after around 3 months or so. If all else fails, then I guess a ban would be necessary, but only as a last resort. Some bans could include: regular bans, I.P bans, and perma-bans.

- The moderation panel: Shows a list of flagged and/or reported comments on a small panel. That comment is shown as one and which member posted it. Next to that comment are two buttons: [ban] and [warn]. If action has been taken and the member was warned, though, the [warn] button isn't functional for that comment anymore. Banned members can always be unbanned using that panel. I'd check on it occasionally to see if any action needs to be taken and see what I could do.

- The hack log: From what I know, this is a panel that shows suspected hacks, and it works by showing which account was logged on to by what I.P, if that ever happens. It's a good place to discover any hackers and to stop such thing from ever happening in the future again, it also keeps the site itself clean and safer. Similarly to the moderation panel, I'd check on it occasionally to see if any action needs to be taken.

- I.P checks: One of the popular powers commonly used by some of the MSM's. You have to type in a username, followed by this it will result in all of the I.P matches (e.g I.P matches for user1: user2, user3, user4, user5, etc.) I'd get into the habit of using this if I'd suspect anything from a user or any other related reasons to this, in my opinion this seems like a good feature itself.

- I.P bans: This type of ban is used in a serious situation. Sometimes, if a ban doesn't work out and the user tries to evade the ban by creating an alt, I.P bans work best. Banning a user in this method will disable them from logging on or creating a new account using that I.P address, these bans can sometimes be temporary. I.P bans will make sure that the user has no way of evading the ban and is forced to wait. I would use this ban on a last resort if I have already issued a ban, but the user persists and creates an alt to continue.

Perma-bans: Self-explanatory, but perma bans keep a user from ever commenting on that account ever again, permanently. I'll use this if serious action needs to be taken and the user simply won't come to a stop.

Final note:
Now my goal in this process is to just go with the flow and do what's necessary. I've already planned how I'll deal with explicit content if I ever encounter it. Warn first, ban later (if necessary). I just want everyone in the community to feel more secure and to find things easier, I'll go easy on the members.

1. I would say being a Moderator is a great privilege, I would be honoured if you guys thank this application. As the Moderator badge is most important while taking out all the bad guys who corrupt Sploder with all their explicit pictures, nudity, or inappropriate language.

2. The jobs of a MSM are as following.

Warn - As we all should know, Moderators have the ability to "Warn" people for a short period of time if they have done something terrible. Sometimes this disables you from sending awards or posting comments.

Ban - Ban is a lot worse then warn, as the user who is banned can not access their account for a short period of time. In other words, their account is limited.

IP Ban - IP Ban is to ban someone from have more then one alt (Alternate) account on the mainsite. This also applies on the forums.

IP Check - IP Check is to locate a specific user that has more then one mainsite account.

Permanent Ban - Permanent Ban the worst ban you can receive, this permanently limits your account so that you are never able to access it again, no matter what you do.

I would use these powers in a sensible time, if the user is flaming calling people names or being mean to another user I will take action and stop them. I bid you a good day.

1. I would like to be a MSM very much, I would like to help out Sploder with warning and banning members that don't belong to this kids web-site. As you all know, there are much kids, even adults that join this web-site and try to troll, flame, spam, post inappropriate words, make inappropriate games and graphics. That's why Sploder has Moderators who protect other members. That is my reason, my goal is to be a MSM. I'd be thankful if you guys vote for me.

2. The MSM badge is a pretty powerful badge, as it's the symbol of the Sploder security. It has a bunch of powers, who help them in their job. The powers they own are:

~ Warn: This power is the most used one. When an user breaks a rule (such as advertising maybe) a MSM warns him. The following user will get a note saying that they're warned with the reason. The warn is here so the members could know what not to do in the future, as they can get banned.

~ Regular Ban: If an user at the first time got warned, and he does that bad thing again (that is, break a rule) a Mod will ban him. It all depends on what he did, if it was advertising twice he will gte banned for a few days or a week (sorry, don't know exactly). But, users could get a straight ban for a long time, or forever, if they do something really awful (such as hacking other members and changing the password, sexually disturbing them, etc.).

~ IP Ban: This ban is specialy for alternative accounts, or as we call them, alts. But not in all casses the alts get banned; if the alts are just for making games and having fun, then no. If they're for making fun of other members and hacking, then yes.

~ IP Check: IP check is to locate any member on the Sploder Main Site, and see what's his/her IP adress and anything about him/her.

~ Permanent Ban: or as we call it perma ban. If you have done something really off the limits as they would say, you will get a perma ban you will never access Sploder (that is only if you want to stay on your banned account, you could make an alt of course, but if you make it it'll probably get banned again with the power of the IP Check!)

~ The Hack Log: ah, the special log on the Sploder web-site. It helps MSM's to see who changed their IP Adress (that is, who is hacking, collabing, and other). It helps a lot to MSMs.

~ The Moderation Panel: a special panel that shows who was recently reported/flagged, or, that is, games that have been reported or flagged.

- I would use those powers whenever I need them. We all know there are a lot of members who want trouble, and if I see any member who's flaming, spamming, hacking, making inappropriate graphics, games or comments I'll do something quickly. I would be a friendly moderator and I would help anyone who needs it.

Thank you for your time,
~milky
