     The year is 2145, in a small secluded island country a biological disaster kicks off turning many people into zombies. Over the period of one year they grow in numbers and eventually outnumber the remaining humans one hundred to one. No assistance was given to the country due to how far it is out of the way and how unimportant it is to the other countries. All that the survivors can do is survive.

How to play:
YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ ALL OF THIS AT ONCE, JUST START WITH THis SECTION AND THEN READ THE REST AS YOU NEED.

Getting Started: When you start you must choose your stats. You have 5 points to invest, each stat can have a maximum of 20 points. Each point in these stats do:

Searching: Increase the searching importance variable by one (helps you get rarer items)

Agility: Increases your odds of being able to run away and evade attacks by one

Luck: Reduces danger odd by one when searching for things or when under 50% health and makes zombies more likely to drop items.

Accuracy: Increases odds of hitting a zombie with bullets by 1%

Thievery: Increases odds of successfully picking locks, stealing, breaking doors down, and climbing by 1%

While they don't seem like they will do much, over time they will add up to make the odds far better for you.

The items you start with are:
20 food
A Hancanno
A knife

Actions: This game has 3 primary actions you can do:

Searching for items: Once you start the game, you have 20 food, food decreases by 1 every time you do anything. If you run out of food you will lose 10 health every time you do something. To keep your food up you will need to search. Searching has two things that come into play, importance and danger. Danger determines if you go up against zombies and how many there are. Importance determines if you find anything and if so, how good it is based on your current state.

Hunt zombies: Hunting zombies allows you to go out and fight zombies in the area. Doing this also reduces the maximum danger in the area by 10 making searching easier. Note that searching will allow the maximum danger to increase by 5 each time you do so and that the lowest the maximum danger can be is 50. This is the second best way to get exp.

Traveling: This allows you to move to a different area, useful for getting better or different items. Doing this uses 10 food. There are four areas to travel to, The City (lots of food, few good weapons, little medicine), The Hospital (Little food, few weapons, lots of medicine), The Outpost (Plenty of weapons, little food or medicine), and Small Town (Moderate amounts of everything).

Combat: Should you encounter a zombie, there are a few things you can do:

Shoot: Use your gun to shoot the zombie, beware that it may attract other zombies. Slim chance of zombie biting you (20%). Uses primary weapon over secondary unless you state otherwise.

Melee: Melee attack the zombie, beware, there is a good chance that the zombie might bite you depending on the weapon.

Run: Run away, the zombie might (30%) bite you. The odds of being successful are 100% divided by the number of zombies you are fighting (the exception is against one zombie where it is automatically 80%) + your agility. If a zombie is guarding an item you can run at that item as you run away, but this gives the zombies a 40% chance to bite you.

Use item: Use an item from your inventory.

     If you are bitten by a zombie you lose a random amount of health (up to 30 hp), 5 bites in one fight and you are infected and need to find strong medicine quickly, otherwise, every action you do will reduce your max health by 10 until you find strong medicine and should it reach 0, you die. ALL normal zombies have 100hp, early on they will be a formidable foe, but over time you will have the upper hand in battle and will need to deal with hordes and other people. Be careful, and be aggressive.

     In combat you can target parts of the body, targeting the arms of a zombie can reduce its max damage that it can deal, the head does extra damage but is tough to hit, the body gives unaltered stats, and the legs can make it more likely to miss.



Zombiez Encyclopedia:
Read this whenever you are curious about something and at your own pace

Death: Dying causes you to lose nearly all of your stuff, you get to keep your exp and food.

Survivors: You may occasionally meet an npc or another player, in this case you may trade with the person, do missions for them, or attack them. Be careful when attacking somebody because survivors have guns and fights with them tend to attract loads and loads of zombies. If your Thievery stat is higher then theirs then you may try to steal an item from them, being unsuccessful will end the encounter, being successful will boost your thievery by 1. If you meet another player, you may work out an alliance and work together with that player.

Missions: After meeting an npc they may give you a mission to do, from killing their enemy, hunting a certain amount of zombies with a certain weapon, or finding a certain item. Doing missions gives you large amounts of exp and is the best way to get cash. Doing missions also allows for you to ally with the npc, the npc can assist in guarding your base, doing missions, or just in combat while searching or hunting.

Loot: Zombies have a chance of dropping items, 25% for common items, 10% for uncommon items, 4% for rare items, and 1% for very rare items.

Locks, fences, and Jammed Doors: Every once in a while you will encounter a tall fence or a door that will not open. You can try to get through these obstacles, every time you get through your thievery will increase by one.

Exp: You get between 5-10 exp per zombie killed and 5 exp every time you perform an action. Gaining exp allows for a few things, every 100 exp you can add a point to any of your 5 skills, your max hp also increases by 10. Normally you can only carry a max of one weapon of each type, 30 food, and 5 items (excluding cash and things for/in your base), but for every 50 exp you can carry 10 extra food and 1 extra item. Getting exp also allows for you to invest in special skills, special skills are highly useful to have.

Equippable items: You can buy these for your gun to modify its stats to your liking, they also change the appearance of your gun.

Night time: Night time occurs every few actions. During night time your weapons are less effective.

Rarity: Every item has its own rarity, items with common rarity appear most often in all importance levels, uncommon items appear in importance levels above 50, rare items appear above 80, and very rare items appear above 90.

Improving your stats: Searching 3 times, successful or not, increases your searching. Winning 4 fights with zombies will increase your accuracy, regardless of whether or not guns were used. Running from battle or getting max damage from a weapon boosts your luck. Traveling boosts your agility each time you do so. Thievery is boosted every time you are successful in picking a lock, climbing up something, busting down a door, or stealing from somebody.

Visibility: As you get more EXP and better gear you become more visible to zombies, be careful as eventually you will need to be mindful of visibility and be strategic in taking down zombies.

Odds Calculations: All odds and percentages are calculated using Random.org (until my quota runs out, then I will need to wait a little) to ensure fairness.

Crafting and bases: Once you have 100 exp you can start collecting things to build your fortress. Once you have 4 wooden boards and a mattress you can build your fortress. Having a fortress at first will only let you skip night time, if you want it to grant major benefits you will need crafting items to help you out. Look under the item guide for more info on items that you can craft and what they can do. Bases can be attacked by other players and zombies. Bases have 500hp but can be upgraded in 100 hp increments via 1 plank and one metal. You can add additional people to your base by having extra mattresses, regardless of their exp.

Raviland related stuff:Every 100 exp lets you post in Raviland to claim 25§, you can buy 100 exp for 50§ at Raviland (and not get the bonus) along with a few items (however all of these items can be obtained without use of Raviland).

Money ($): Few guns have attachments when you first find them, instead you need to find money to buy these. Money is uncommon but found in groups, getting $20 is more common then $10. Money doesn't count as a normal item because it doesn't take up inventory space.

Guns:

Side Arms: Side arms never run out of ammo, if your main weapon has run out then you will use your side arm.


Hadcanno:


Developed by Had corp over 100 years ago, this gun has proven to by very reliable and surprisingly customizable. Sadly, Had has gone out of Business 4 years ago due to slumping sales and a number of poor guns.

Damage: 15-30
Accuracy: 35%
Visibility: 25
Night time accuracy decrease: 20
Common

Equippable items:
Flash hider (-5 visibility) $15
Suppressor (-15 visibility, -5 damage) $25
Chrome plating (+3 visibility, +9000 swag) $5
Laser (+3 visibility, -5 night acc decrease, +8 accuracy) $20
Alternate fore-grip (+4 accuracy) $15
Better iron sights (+5 accuracy) $20
Flashlight (-20 night accuracy decrease, +10 visibility) $30


Glick:


Developed to be a useful and small self defense weapon, the glick ended up not selling badly due to weak stopping power and lack of modifications.

Damage: 10-20
Accuracy: 55%
Visibility: 10
Night time accuracy decrease: 25

Equippable items:
Extended mag (+3 damage) $20
Laser (+3 visibility, -5 night acc decrease, +8 accuracy) $20


Freedom Revolver:


Despite revolvers falling out of favor many years ago due to the fact that they are outdated, they still pack a punch and are a worthy addition to any collection.

Damage: 25-40
Accuracy: 30%
Visibility: 35
Night time accuracy decrease: 25
Rare

Equippable items:
Snub Barrel (-5 accuracy, +10 damage) $30
Pocket (-7 accuracy, +5 damage, -10 visibility) $45
Military spec (+15 accuracy, +10 visibility, +5 damage) $55


Byro Hydrax:


This gun was quite revolutionary when it came out due to it integrating tactical rails, something usually seen on larger guns. This gave it unparallelled mod-ability and its rugged and well rounded design is one that many people will love.

Accuracy: 40%
Visibility: 20
Night time accuracy decrease: 25
Uncommon

Laser (+3 visibility, -5 night acc decrease, +8 accuracy) $20

Primary gun: While they have limited ammo, they also have lots of power and good accuracy.


Byro-Assault:


While their handgun is their most popular product, their most well known is their state of the art assault rifle, carrying state of the art technology and good build quality, it has served as the primary weapon for many militaries.

The gun that put the nail in the coffin for Had, while it sold well for the first year the company died. The oddly placed Grips and bulk of the gun made it a poor choice.

A unique design with no moving parts and great stopping power and near perfect accuracy, sadly it has little ammo.

Launching to great fanfare, many consider this to be the best shotgun of all time.

Their first move into more modern gun designs, freedom has attempted to create the best gun for any long range encounter and have mostly succeeded. Given the rarity of hunting or sniper rifles on the island, this is a gun that will give you lots of attention and power.

Few weapons are as trusty as a knife, sadly it is quite dangerous to use and should only be used for emergencies.

Hammer:


Possibly the most efficient way to kill a zombie is smashing its entire head into tasty gibs.

Axe:


The safest melee weapon available, however the time it takes to swing may lead to missing or just smacking the zombie with the middle of the handle.

Ammo:


Use this in battle to restore your primary gun's ammo, or use it after the battle to avoid discarding the gun.

Food:


Allows you do perform actions, use out of battle to restore 10 hp.

Frag Grenade:


Use to kill all zombies and end the battle, any items the zombies might have had are destroyed, exp is gained as normal.

Medkit:


Use in battle to restore 50 hp, use outside of battle to restore all health.

Money:


Can be used to buy attachments for your gun or trading with npcs.

Smoke Grenade:


Instantly flee from a battle.

Strong Medicine:


Remove infection and restore original HP, can also be used to restore all lost health outside of battle.

Shoes:


It is not scientifically proven, but these beat up air jordans can give you a temporary agility boost of 5 points in combat up to 5 times before falling apart.

Pillow:


A good nights sleep allows for you to get an extra 5% accuracy up to 5 times.

Metal Detector:


Use once, guarantees that you find a weapon when used while searching.

Mask:


Batman may not be a thief but he is badass and using this mask will hide your identity and give you an extra 5 in thieving up to 5 times.

Four Leaf Clover:


Gives you an extra 6 in luck up to four times.

Spicy seasoning:


The potently spicy smell will clear out your nasal passages and guarantee that you will find food while searching.

Use to double your hp until it is back to normal.

Barrel:

Allows for storage of 50 extra food inside of your base, you can have up to 3 barrels.

Barb Wire:

Prevent zombies or unwanted players from entering your base, they have a 10% chance of breaking it.

Car:

Allows for travel only using one Gasoline. Must own a base to find and use.
Found while scavenging, rare.

Gasoline:

Allows for travel via car or reducing the level of another player's base by one.
Found while scavenging, uncommon.

Lens:

Crafting material.
Found while scavenging, rare.

Mattress:

Used for base creation. The number of them in the base determines the max number of people inside the base.
Found while scavenging, uncommon.

Metal:

Crafting Material.
Found while scavenging, common.

Plank:

Crafting material.
Found while scavenging, common.

Telescope:

-15 danger while searching.
Crafting Materials: 1 metal, 1 lens.

Trap:

50% chance of killing zombies near your base. Max of 3 per base.
Crafting Materials: 1 metal, 1 wire.

Weapon Crate:

Allows for an additional weapon to be stored in your base, Max of 3 per base.
Crafting Materials: 3 planks, 1 wire.

Wire:

Crafting material.
