The Background Award Codes
« on: February 25, 2011, 06:24 am »
Normal code:
[body style="background-image:url(IMAGE LINK HERE); background-repeat:repeat;">[/body>

Replace [ with the less than sign.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fade Code: (Credit to Thrash, whtever and babybuster4ever)
[body id="AccountPage" style="background-image:url(http://imgur.com/5QsAA.gif), -webkit-gradient(linear,left top,left bottom,from(#000000),to(#0404B4)); background-repeat: repeat-y, no-repeat;"][/body]

Replace []'s. And out the colors in HTML form where those numbers are. This is the code for making a page just like Thrash's, but you can have any color fade into another, and it's all fitted to the page.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fixed background: (Credit to 10000truths)

Here's the code for a background that scrolls along with the text: (Seehereto get what I mean)
[body style="background:url(IMAGE LINK HERE) repeat fixed; overflow:scroll;"][/body]
Replace brackets with greater and less than signs.

I'm surprised nobody's noticed it yet and asked for similar backgrounds.

Can anybody tell me why I can never see the fade background? All pages with that background just look like they have the default background to me. This has been bugging me for awhile now.

I have had this problem as well. I always assumed it was just something with my computer.

It could also be your browser. I use Firefox and it doesn't happen to me. Which browser do you use?

Most people stop for signs, but I've driven through it
If it don't touch my soul, then I can't listen to it
The radio don't play the splode I used to love
Or maybe I'm just growing up
I never seen a star on a red rug
If I wanna see a stars I just look above

To the heavens

It's probably something with my color display settings.

Does anybody know the code that was used to turn bobomaster's account page upside down?

(Don't waste your time trying to figure it out with inspect element. It won't help you at all. I wasted around an hour trying to figure it out with inspect element.)

I'm moving this back to the LL because I've found a use for these codes again. With them I am able to change the background of any page on the forum.

YAY FOR AWESOME HTML!!! IT WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN BBC!!!

Why would you compare a web coding language to a news channel?
