Below are the rules to Sploder.info/
BUT before you read them I want to introduce you to the punishment system, so you know what happens when you ignore this thread.
1st level punishment. Grunt, you have committed a minor offense. You lose ability to start threads, also your avatar is blacked out of all comments.
2nd level punishment. PoW, Prisoner of War, Unless you committed a MAJOR offense, you were warned of your actions, and probably repeated them. Your time in PoW Camp is determined by what you did to get there. Most punishments last from 24 hours to a week. Your actions while in PoW, will determine how fast you get out as well. Just so you know PoW camp is as boring as watching paint dry, or grass grow. IF people speak to you it is usually to correct your actions. So you will be alone.
FUN IS PROHIBITED IN PoW CAMP!
3rd level of punishment. Learner. You cannot seem to learn anything about the forum or just show bad behavior and show no sign of changing. Usually you will spend time in POW then go here. The Learning Pit is very boring, even worse than POW. While we will be very kind and willing to respond to your questions, you will have very few threads to talk in.
4th level of punishment. Gibblet, You repeatedly break rules, you have been banished from the forum. 0. The "UN-written" rule. If you are punished for something that is not on this list, that does not mean it was not against the rules. Geoff and the Mods reserve the right to ban members for ANY reason they see fit. Not ALL situations can be covered on a set list of rules.
1. Post things in their proper category. These are clearly labeled, and should be easy to follow.
2. NO spamming. Spam has several forms. Posting off topic is spam. Posting random numbers and text (jder6743iugrf784t23) Spam. Repeating phrases, making several threads on the same topic, making pointless threads.....All Spam.
3. NO usage of bad language. Now this rule is overlooked TO AN EXTENT. Some things you may get away with some you may not. Also HOW you say it will be a factor.
4. NO RACISM OF ANY FORM. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTED.
5. NO FLAMING. Now this does not mean you must get along with every person here. You can even argue, but keep the malicious insults out of it.
6. Do not ask for promotions, awards, featured games. This will greatly reduce chances of it ever happening. If you would like to know HOW people get these things, it is best to ask a Major+ privately.
7. Great grammar is not required, yet we prefer you use decent grammar. Continual poor grammar will likely make you disliked.
8. NO ALT accounts. IF for some reason your account becomes compromised, or you lose your password, THEN you can make an account if necessary. After which one of the two accounts will likely be gibbed. Also if you make an alt account to avoid PoW camp, or being gibbed, WE WILL KNOW!, and that account will be gibbed, and you will receive additional punishment.
9. Bumping Topics. This is when you post in a thread to move it to the top of the category. You should not bump old threads. This can be annoying, and is frowned upon.
10. If you quit, you better mean it. If you announce to the public you are quitting we will simply demote you to private. Why? Because if you aren't coming back there is no use on having that account at that rank. But if you want to leave just do it quietly, tell a few people privately, then be off. But more than likely you will be back, so may I suggest not announcing that you are quitting to the public?
11. No glitch abuse whatsoever, it is not tolerable. Glitch abuse can result in gruntation or worse.
12. You are allowed ONE thread to advertise new games/websites, etc... DO NOT ADVERTISE IN OTHER PEOPLES THREADS!! This is considered spam, which IS punishable.
13. NO splode OF ANY KIND. This means no nudity as well.
14. Threats against Sploder, (Main site/forums.) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
15. If you wish to advertise your thread you must do so in orderly fashion. You may have only ONE thread for your advertisements. You cannot have separate threads for different advertisements, they will all be placed onto one thread. Other threads will be closed, sunk, or deleted. You may bump your threads up to three times per day, any more shall result in the thread being sunk and a temporary restriction from creating an advertisement thread.

Html rules.
1: NO ABUSE OF THE SYSTEM
If we see anyone, and I mean anyone, abusing the new html abilities that would be considered spam or unethical, we will punish you to what we see fit.
NOTE: Anything that messes with the original layout of the thread can be considered html abuse. That includes making everyone use a certain font not by their doing, messing with the background page, and comment box.
2: NO POSTING INAPPROPRIATE PICTURES
Obvious, if we see anything that is not age appropriate here we can send you the ban hammer like that.
3: NO CONTINUAL USE OF THE SYSTEM
If we see you constantly posting pictures left and right or using extremely large/annoying font we will consider that spam and that is up for grunt time.

About threads.
Fused- These threads contain important information. Often closed to avoid spam, and contrary to popular belief there is no need to thank every fused thread post.
Sploded- These threads can not be posted in unless re-opened. Closed due to content, or to avoid spam.
Sunk- This is done to spam threads mostly. Sunk threads move to the bottom of the category faster.
About Awards.
You will see awards on peoples account pages. Only Majors+ can give these out. DO NOT ASK TO BE GIVEN AWARDS!! This will likely annoy the Majors+. However if you are asking for an award to be given to another member for an accomplishment, that's acceptable.
About Editors.
Editors are the people that feature games. You cannot become an editor by simply asking. One must have knowledge of what makes a game worth featuring.
If you would like to become an editor tell a Major+ you would like to apply for editor, they will give you further instructions.
DO NOT CONSTANTLY ASK TO APPLY, OR ASK MULTIPLE MEMBERS IF YOU CAN APPLY!
Side note- Editors CANNOT feature their own games, just not possible. If that's why you want to be an editor, forget about it.
About Ranks.
These are the ranks of this forum with a brief explaination. DO NOT ASK TO BE PROMOTED! You gain promotions by showing you are mature, helping the forum, and following the rules. Asking to be promoted will only increase the time it takes to be promoted.
Giblet ~ Banned. Full stop.
Learner ~ For people that continually break rules, a place for them to learn.
PoW ~ Banned, can only beg for forgiveness.
Grunt ~ Can't use Html or Create discussions.
Applicant ~ Waiting to be accepted into the forums.
Private ~ A normal member, does not have any Powers, can see General, Game Sharing, RPFG's, Groups, contests and Games, Basic Training, and Bugs.
Soldier ~ More mature, can see Barracks and Editors Corner.
Major ~ More mature than soldier, can see major league, can give awards and can sink, close, or fuse any discussion.
Lt. ~ Very mature, can check IP addresses, can accept applicants, and can delete awards. (Lieutennant)
General ~ Mod, can see Mod Area, can Promote/Demote members and Remove comments and Discussions.
CiC ~ Geoff, occasionally Mods, can do anything. (Commander in Chief)
